Me? I'm the other guy, David Wood. Son of Peter and Helen Wood. Peter and Helen passed away two years ago. A loss the whole family still feels very deeply. I still feel as if they are there when I need them. They were my best friends.
I am a CPA and business consultant with a small firm called Commercial & Industrial Management, Inc. I am currently acting as a financial and information systems consultant. Not where I thought my degree in Mathematics would land me, but then most of my life hasn't been exactly what you'd call planned out. Mostly I just keep looking for the good challenges, the interesting people and the beautiful places while trying hard not to get too far ahead of myself. Looking for that sense of grace...
Why the page name? Well, Hoover & Puppy are two great dogs, and among other things, they were my first motivation to get a homepage up and going. Puppy is no longer around, she passed away in January of 1999. She was the best dog I ever had. Don't get me wrong, Hoover is a real pistol, my best bud. Puppy just had an extra special spark.

Pictures: Right now contains only a few family photos and links to more detailed info. I hope to add more photos of friends and family to it as time goes by. I'd be very happy if I could get some of the New Zealand relatives to join in.
Family tree: Just a sample of some of the work various members of my family have done on our genealogy. If any one wants to help me out with this I'd love some suggestions. Hypertext seems like a natural for genealogy.
News: Check here first if you've been here before. I will use this spot for updates on family events or just about anything I have the energy/time to add. I am more than willing to give others posting rights to these pages if anyone has any interest.
